Sakura Route 2: Visit Matchmaking Cherry Blossoms

It is a 200-years-old Benishidare cherry tree (double weeping cherry tree). It stands at the precinct of Nanko Shrine, that is worshipped as the god of marriage.

It is named as Tenjin Meotozakura (couple cherry tree) since two cherry trees are standing side by side as if they were cuddling each other.

In the middle of Toriisugi (Japanese cedar standing in front of the entrance to a shrine) there is another branch coming out and it is a cherry blossom named 'Enmusubi no sakura.'

A famous shop for Sakuraniku (horse meat)

This strawberry picking allows visitors to enjoy eating-as-much-as-you-like for 30 minutes.

This shop provides 'three colored Dango (dumpling)' that is a variety of three different tastes of dango.

Approximately 500 full-bloom Somei Yoshino trees cover river channel park area of Miyakawa all at once.
